Searches for the popular video game Fortnite have more than doubled after the recent launch of the game’s sixth season on the adult video sharing website Pornhub, according to new data from Pornhub Insights.

Searches for terms containing the name of the video game also experienced a spike after the release of the game’s fifth season in July 2018 while the term has stayed within Pornhub’s top 25 search terms for 2018 so far, equating to hundreds of thousands of additional searches on a daily basis.

The top Fortnite-related search terms on Fortnite were reportedly ‘Fortnite hentai’ followed by ‘Fortnite porn,’ ‘Fortnite parody’ and ‘Fortnite cosplay.’

Notably, a number of Fortnite characters were also named as top Fortnite-related search terms on Pornhub, with the most-searched one being Sunstrider from season 5 followed by Zoey from season 4 of the game.

One of the newest characters in the game, the cowgirl-themed Calamity, currently ranks as the third-most searched Fortnite character on Pornhub.

Fortnite and Pornhub have seen a surprisingly strong correlation in recent months for various reasons. An April 2018 server outage and another July server crash both led to surges in Pornhub traffic.

Additionally, Fortnite searches on the adult video sharing website also spiked a staggering 834 per cent in March after Drake played the popular video game on Twitch.

Fortnite is a free-to-play shooter video game developed and published by Epic Games.

Boasting a player base of approximately 125 million people worldwide, the game was first released in July 2017 and saw its popular battle royale mode introduced shortly afterwards in September 2017, which pits gamers against each other in 100-player battles that mix action-shooter gameplay with elements of survival and fortress building games.

The popular video game was recently released on Android in August 2018 and is also currently available to play on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, MacOS and iOS.
