Holly Willoughby’s must-have I’m A Celebrity hiking boots have virtually sold out just hours after being restocked.
Shoemaker Grenson’s site crashed under the weight of those logging on to buy their Nanette hiker boots after the presenter, 37, debuted a pair on the show’s very first night in November last year. More than 400 pairs of the boots went within hours.
The shoe became a jungle wardrobe staple and desperate fans inundated the star with requests for shopping details – only to be left disappointed.
Today Grenson revealed the style – now £10 more expensive at £265 – is finally back in stock giving fashion fans a chance to own a pair for themselves.
However shoppers will have to act fast as the boots have already sold out in all but two sizes – hours after their release.
The chunky leather boots became Holly’s style signature in the Australian jungle, often providing the perfect counterpoint to typically girly ensembles.
On their first outing the mother-of-three teamed the boots with a black lace blouse, mini skirt and chunky Isabel Marant belt.
‘Loving the boots Holly you are rocking them well with the outfit!’ one fan wrote. ‘Nanette boots are sooo cute,’ wrote another.
Another penned: ‘You were amazing and looking fab! Loving the @grensonshoes.’
Genson used a photo of the star with co-presenter Declan Donnelly to announce the release on Instagram.
It was quickly shared by Holly’s stylist Angie Smith, who is credited with catapulting her client from a fashionable TV queen to a bona-fide style icon.
Speaking of this season’s unlikeliest trend, celebrity stylist and designer, Lucas Armitage said: ‘The fashion power of Holly is unstoppable right now, there’s no other explanation for how an ugly hiking boot could become the unlikely boot hit of the season.
‘Grenson are a very functional practical brand so juxtaposed against high fashion look they create an interesting vibe.’
Grenson also boasts a string of other high-profile fans with the likes of model Hailey Baldwin, Strictly Come Dancing finalist Stacey Dooley and actress Jodie Comer being snapped wearing the in-demand brand.
