Liverpool’s stars got back into the swing of training at Melwood on Thursday as Mohamed Salah and Co underwent resistance training.
The Reds are busy preparing to take on Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday lunchtime as the Premier League returns following the international break.
With a touch match expected in the capital, boss Jurgen Klopp put his players through their paces as they partnered up and broke out a sweat using resistance bands as part of their strength and conditioning preparations.
Tottenham will be missing midfielder Dele Alli and No 1 goalkeeper Hugo Lloris which will come as a boost to Klopp’s side.
Liverpool only lost Adam Lallana during the international break and will be keen to pick up where they left off in the league having beaten Leicester City 2-1 away from home last time out.
Sadio Mane has traveled more than any other player from both sides – over 11,000 miles – and having been Liverpool’s best performer so far this season, Klopp will hope the Senegalese can find the energy.
Fabinho, who has yet to register a single minute of action, was pictured in training as he continues to be patient and wait for his opportunity in central midfield.
Tottenham initially planned for the tie to take place at their new stadium but delays have forced the two sides into facing off at Wembley.
Spurs will hope they can catch Liverpool cold as they look to respond to their last league game when they fell to defeat at the hands of unbeaten Watford.
