Property agent accused of open house theft

A real estate agent is accused of taking a resident’s bank card during an open-for-inspection and going on a spending spree.

The woman, 38, is facing seven charges after a resident reported the bank card stolen during the open home on Pacific Highway in Dee Why on Saturday.

The agent, who was showing the home to the public, allegedly pocketed the card and used it six times before her arrest on Wednesday.

Police said they seized items from a home in Bilgola Plateau on Sydney’s northern beaches on Wednesday.

The woman was bailed to appear at Manly Local Court on November 21.
