BRIAN McFadden was forced off the ice yesterday after a nasty injury.
Brian McFadden is set to take to the rink on Dancing on Ice tonight for his first competitive performance.
And things are looking touch and go for the star after Brian suffered an injury and was forced to call off rehearsals.
The former Westlife singer had been rehearsing with skating partner Alex Murphy when he got injured.
Brian, 38, partially dislocated his shoulder and damaged his rotator cuff and couldn’t rehearse any more.
Things will be reassessed today, but it leaves it very fine as it’s just hours away from the live shows.
In some first look pictures, Brian can be seen on a hospital bed grimacing while a medic checks him over.
Kerry Katona’s ex looked in pain as the medic looked over his shoulder, even closing his eyes at times.
Brian is yet to comment on his injury on Twitter or Instagram, so it’s not clear whether or not he’ll perform tonight.
If he did, he looks a fairly safe bet to stay until next week as he’s not the favourite to leave.
At the moment, Mark Little is the favourite to leave with Betfair giving him odds of 11/10.
Meanwhile, Brian is middle of the pack with odds of 12/1 ahead of his first solo dance tonight.
He’s part of the second group of celebrities who will perform for the first time this week.
The others are Melody Thornton, Richard Blackwood, Ryan Sidebottom, Saira Khan and Wes Nelson.
And with the first elimination looming, nerves must be high behind-the-scenes.
Dancing on Ice continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
