DANNY Walters may be heading back to Benidorm after Thursday’s EastEnders.

Eastenders viewers have been left wondering if Danny Walters will be returning to Benidorm after Thursday’s episode of the hit soap.

Danny joined Albert Square in 2017, taking on the role of Keanu Taylor.

However, he made a name for himself in ITV sitcom Bendirom, where he played Tiger Dyke for three years.

But in a shocking turn of events, it seems the actor may be heading back to his roots.

Keanu’s sordid affair with Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) seems to be over for good as her husband Phil (Steve McFadden) has banished him from Walford.

Kept in the dark about their affair, Phil is angry at the hunky mechanic after he broke his daughter Louise (Tilly Keeper)’s heart.

After being summoned to The Arches, where the pair work, Keanu was handed a rucksack by Phil.

Meeting up with Sharon one last time before leaving Walford, Keanu revealed that Phil had bought him a ticket to Spain.

But fans hilariously began to wonder if Danny may be heading back to reprise the role of Tiger.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Keanu is off back to Benidorm!”

Referencing Tiger’s fictional place of work, another said: “Keanu’s back off to the Solana!”

A third tweeted an image of Danny’s former character, captioning it: “Keanu in Spain.”

EastEnders continues at 8pm on Monday and Friday and 7:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday on BBC One.
