MANCHESTER UNITED won yet again under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer win a Paul Pogba-inspired 3-0 victory at Fulham.
Paul Pogba was at the centre of their victory with a brace at Craven Cottage.
His first a strike from a narrow angle that bamboozled Fulham keeper Sergio Rico at his near post and his second came from the spot.
His two strikes continue his purple patch and now make this Pogba’s most fruitful season in front of goal.
The Frenchman is becoming unrecognisable from the man who was constantly criticised for his role in Jose Mourinho’s system before he eventually fell out with the former United manager.
Unsurprisingly Red Devils fans are waxing lyrical about their midfielder on social media.
“Pogbest in the world!” wrote several.
With others taking a more direct approach by saying: “Best midfielder in the world.”
“He is the king” said another.
The United fans are understandably feeling confident about life on the pitch following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s impact.
The Red Devils host Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night and fans are feeling optimistic about their chances.
“No hat-trick! Rest him for PSG” urged one supporter.
Whilst one fan decided to poke fun at Mourinho by saying: “Just a friendly reminder than Mourinho wanted to sell Pogba and Martial and keep Fellaini.”
Tuesday night will see Pogba come up against his national colleague Kylian Mbappe when he leads the Parisians attack.
PSG have been near faultless domestically but the Old Trafford faithful are returning to their fearless selves of eras gone by.
Their win takes them into the top four ahead of Chelsea who play their neighbours Manchester City tomorrow afternoon.
