US parents charged after toddler dies with 8kg tumour

The parents of a toddler in Oklahoma have been charged with first degree murder after she died with an 8kg tumour.

Henry Clarence Lilly III, 49, and Bonnie Beth Mills-Lilly, 47, are accused of not providing medical care for their three-year-old daughter, local newspaper The Lawton Constitution reports.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to a camper home at a lake near Lawton on January 3.

The deputies were told a girl was unconscious but breathing.

The girl later died in hospital and a medical examiner discovered the 8kg tumour.

The couple reportedly had another five children living in the camper home. It is not known who is now caring for the other children.

If convicted, Mills-Lilly and Lilly each would face a minimum of four years in prison, the Constitution reported.

The couple are required to wear GPS monitors while out on bail and are scheduled to appear in court on February 28.
