WWE star Nia Jax has been slammed as an “unsafe moron” by rival Ember Moon’s husband after she broke the nose of Becky Lynch.

The WWE grappler has courted controversy since she punched Lynch in the face for real during a segment in which SmackDown invaded Raw ahead of The Man’s match with Ronda Rousey.

Lynch and Rousey’s bout had to be cancelled due to the Irish star’s injuries – much to the fury of WWE fans.

And in a shocking outburst during last night’s episode of Raw, Moon’s husband Matthew Palmer stuck the boot into Jax.

Palmer – who is also a wrestler – has since deleted his tweet, but screenshots are being circulated on social media.

Jax – who is a cousin of The Rock – is a former WWE Raw Women’s Champion, a plus-size model, and was signed to WWE as a rookie back in 2014.

Moon was teaming with Rousey in a tag team match against Jax and her partner Tamina Snuka.

She was announced as a last minute replacement for Natalya on Raw.

It is unknown what reaction to his controversial tweet was backstage, with Jax currently in line for a major push and feud against Rousey.

Jax has embraced her newfound notoriety as she dubs herself as the “Facebreaker”.

Lynch was left covered in blood following the incident which threw major coverage through the spotlight onto WWE.

The Irish star was already rising in popularity before the botch, and is now reportedly being groomed for her match against Rousey at WrestleMania.

Reports also suggested WWE management was unhappy with Jax following the punch on the Raw before Survivor Series.

Jax’s current position though as she is pushed as Rousey’s new rival appears to show these reports were incorrect.

WWE star Zelina Vega also suffered a concussion after being thrown over the top rope by Jax at WWE Evolution.

Palmer and Moon were married last month in a Game of Thrones-style wedding.

He is a wrestler on the indie circuit, and later retweeted the WWE.com article of Moon’s tag match against Jax.

Jax was promoted to the WWE main roster in 2016 after two years in developmental brand NXT.

She begun her stint playing an unstoppable monster, before transitioning into a hero – speaking out over body shaming in a very personal feud with Alexa Bliss.

The 34-year-old won the Raw women’s title at WrestleMania in a match with Bliss, only to lose it to her again at Money-in-the-Bank.

Real name Savelina Fanene, she is now playing a villain once again after turning against Rousey.
