Leeds United are closing on a free transfer for Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
The 32-year-old will join this week after a medical and the Championship leaders are looking to take over the 18 months he has left on his contract at Madrid.
Casilla has not made an appearance this season for the Spanish giants.
The Madrid goalkeeper only played 10 matches for Los Blancos last campaign.
Casilla has found it difficult to get past Keylor Navas in goal and with former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois joining in the summer he’s found his minutes even more limited.
Courtois is out for 10 days with a hip problem as Real Madrid are suffering an injury crisis with seven players out of action.
