Earlier today, Intel held an event where it launched its ninth-generation desktop CPUs. The company said that the first partners to use the chips will be HP, Dell, Lenovo, and more, and Dell is already out of the gate with new models of the Alienware Aurora and XPS Tower.

Dell has been quick to iterate on its PCs with new hardware. It updated the Aurora with Intel’s hexa-core Coffee Lake chips last October, and then just a couple of months ago, the PC got a refresh with Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX graphics cards. Now, you’ll be able to get either a Dell XPS Tower Special Edition or an Alienware Aurora with up to a Core i9-9900K CPU.

Intel’s new Core i9-9900K processor comes in with a 3.6GHz base clock speed, with boost speeds of up to 5GHz. It’s eight cores and hyperthreaded, and it has a TDP of 95W. As with all K-series CPUs, it’s unlocked for overclocking.

Dell says that the new XPS Tower Special Edition will be available in the United States and China on October 29, starting at $1,099 USD. The new Alienware Aurora will arrive globally on October 30, starting at $899 USD. The firm noted that availability and configurations will vary by region.
