Ivanka Trump penned a heartfelt tribute to her husband, Jared Kushner, on their ninth anniversary, after spending the evening before looking through their wedding album.
The 36-year-old first daughter took to Instagram on Thursday morning to share a photo of herself cuddled up to Jared, 37, as well as pictures from their wedding, which was held at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, in 2009.
‘You are my light, my love, my life. Happy 9th anniversary, Jared,’ she captioned the series of images.
In the first photo, which appears to have been taken recently, Ivanka and Jared are smiling brightly as she poses with her hand resting on his chest.
She is wearing a white dress with black polka dots and a black tie at the neck. Her blonde hair is pulled back in a low ponytail, and she is sporting a bright red lip.
Jared, who is donning a black suit and tie, is also smiling in the snapshot while his arm is wrapped around his wife’s waist.
The next photo is a wedding day portrait that shows the then-newlyweds gazing into each other’s eyes, with their noses touching, as if they are about to kiss.
Ivanka is wearing her custom Vera Wang gown with delicate lace detailing on the bodice and diamonds from her now-defunct eponymous fine jewelry collection.
Her 5.22-carat diamond engagement ring, which Jared designed himself, is also on display in the picture.
Keeping with his Orthodox Jewish faith, Jared is wearing a yarmulke on his head along with his classic tuxedo.
Ivanka converted to Judaism to marry Jared in 2009, and they are raising their three children, Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore, as Orthodox Jews as well.
The final picture is a black and white portrait of the couple taken at the top of a grand staircase at her father’s golf club on their big day.
In this particular image, Jared has his arms wrapped around his wife’s waist, and she is holding a massive bouquet of flowers.
The night before their anniversary, she posted a snapshot of herself barefoot, lying in bed, while looking through their wedding album.
‘Walking down memory lane on the eve of our 9th wedding anniversary,’ she wrote.
Jared isn’t the only Kushner who has a wedding anniversary in October.
The White House senior adviser’s younger brother, Joshua, said ‘I do’ to model Karlie Kloss in an intimate ceremony in upstate New York last Thursday — exactly a week before Jared and Ivanka’s wedding anniversary.
According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the couple wed in a Jewish ceremony, Like Ivanka, 26-year-old Karlie reportedly converted to Judaism in June before they became engaged.
However, unlike Ivanka and Jared, who had 500 guests at their wedding, Joshua and Karlie opted for a more intimate celebration with just 80 attendees.
Jared, Ivanka, and their children were among the couple’s wedding guests, which included the brothers’ parents, Charles and Sery, their sisters, Dara and Nicole, and model Ashley Graham.
Before kicking off her anniversary celebrations on Wednesday evening, Ivanka denounced the bomb threats aimed at liberals, including the Obamas, whose Washington, D.C. residence is located just two blocks from her own home in the Kalorama neighborhood.
‘I strongly condemn the attempted acts of violence against President Obama, the Clinton family, @CNN & others,’ she tweeted on Wednesday morning. ‘There is no excuse—America is better than this.
‘Gratitude to the @SecretService and law enforcement for all they do to keep this nation safe.’
Earlier on Wednesday, Ivanka looked calm and collected while stepping out of her home, just as it was revealed a pipe bomb had been sent to the home of former President Barack Obama.
The first daughter was seen leaving her home at about 7:40 in the morning, not long before the news broke that Secret Service had intercepted a pipe bomb that was sent to the Obamas’ Kalorama home.
It is possible that the news might not have reached Ivanka yet — or if it had, she wasn’t going to let any stress or strain show.
The White House senior adviser appeared at ease as she exited her home and made her way to work.
Ivanka left for her morning commute wearing a tight ice-blue sweater and a printed $1,100 Calvin Klein skirt, paired with navy blue pumps.
Later in the day, she met with a group of students who are passionate about careers in STEM at the White House.
Hours after the Secret Service confirmed on Wednesday morning that two packages containing a ‘functional explosive device’ had been intercepted — one addressed to the Obamas’ private home in D.C. and one for the Clintons’ home in New York — Ivanka took to social media to condemn the attempted acts of violence.
‘[Obama and Clinton] did not receive the packages nor were they at risk of receiving them,’ a Secret Service statement said.
The Time Warner Center in New York City, which houses CNN’s newsroom, was also evacuated on Wednesday morning because of a suspicious package received in the mail room.
Authorities have launched a multi-agency investigation to identify those responsible for the packages.
Investigators found three more suspicious packages addressed to Robert De Niro and Joe Biden on Thursday as the manhunt intensifies for the serial bomber targeting the liberal elite.
None of the devices have detonated before being intercepted and no injuries have been reported as authorities desperately search for the serial bomber.
Ten packages have so far been seized in New York, Washington D.C., Florida and California.
