A sex worker accused of stealing a police officer’s Jeep and service weapon claims she is pregnant, and told detectives she had been hired for a threesome.

Taquanna Lawton, 20, was arraigned in Brooklyn on a grand larceny charge on Thursday night, the New York Post reported.

She had been picked up by Ali Sheppard, a police officer of 13 years and twice-deployed military veteran, early on Tuesday at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Sackman Street in Brownsville.

Sheppard, 38, had stopped his car en route to a hotel in the city’s east to get cash for the night from an ATM, but left his keys in the car.

Seeing an opportunity, Lawton allegedly took the vehicle, which had his police-issued handgun and another woman inside, and fled.

Sheppard has not conceded there was a second woman in the side, with police sources telling the Post Lawton’s claim has yet to be proven.

‘She said that she and this other girl drove off with the car and the other girl split,’ the source said.

‘She’s the only one who’s mentioned the other girl.’

Police tracked Lawton down to Far Rockaway, Queens, on Tuesday afternoon, where they found the car but no gun.

The source said Lawton had told officers she didn’t even know there was a gun in the car.

The 20-year-old, known as ‘Unique’ refused to be fingerprinted and was taken to the emergency room to have her pregnancy confirmed.

She was being held on a $25,000 bond Thursday night, with an additional $5,000 tacked on for an earlier charge, which has not been revealed.

Officer Sheppard has been suspended from the force without pay for 30 days, though a high level official has speculated he could face charges for patronizing a prostitute – a Class A misdemeanor that comes with a jail sentence of up to a year.
