ARIANA Grande has clapped back at her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson.
Ariana Grande, 25, has snapped back at her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, 24, after he made a joke about their short-lived engagement.
The former couple split last month after a whirlwind romance, which saw them get engaged in June, just a month after they started dating.
It looks like Pete is ready to move on already as he propositioned a Saturday Night Live guest.
In a promotional teaser for the next episode, Jonah Hill, 34, introduces the musical guest Maggie Rogers, 24.
“For somebody who claims to hate relevancy you sure love clinging to it huh?”
After he does so, Pete turns to the singer and says: “Hey Maggie, I’m Pete. You wanna get married?”
She quickly turns him down, which sees him say: “0 for three.”
It clearly didn’t go down well with Ariana who shared her thoughts in a handful of now-deleted tweets.
She wrote: “For somebody who claims to hate relevancy you sure love clinging to it huh?
“Thank you, next.”
The One Last Time songstress didn’t mention Pete by name in her tweets, though she hinted at it elsewhere.
Ariana liked a handful of tweets which directly mention the SNL promo.
One read: “SNL is about to milk their breakup just like they did with the engagement.”
This isn’t the first time Pete has joked about his failed relationship with the God Is A Woman hitmaker.
During the SNL season 44 premiere, he said: “I got engaged and no one could believe it.
“I can’t believe it and I get it. She’s the number one pop star in the world and I’m that guy from SNL everyone thinks is in desperate need of more blood.”
But Ariana clearly isn’t letting Pete get to her too much, as she celebrated an hour-long musical special airing on the BBC last night.
Ariana sat down with Davina McCall to talk about her music and life and perform a handful of songs, including Only One, Breathin and No Tears Left To Cry.
