Cops hunt lady who ‘sexually assaulted another female passenger on Tube’


AN APPEAL has been issued for information after a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted by another female passenger on the Tube.

The alleged victim told the British Transport Police she was assaulted by the woman at around 7.15pm on the Jubilee Line from Bond Street to Baker Street.

The accused, who has blonde hair and was wearing a dark coat, allegedly sat down next to her and carried out the assault.

She then allegedly kicked and racially abused the other woman when she stood up and moved to the other end carriage.

A spokesman for the British Transport Police (BTP) said: “The woman continued to be abusive as she then left the train at Baker Street.

“Officers believe the woman in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.

“If you recognise her, or witnessed the incident, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 405040.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 40 50 40.”
