Police have released an image of a baby-faced teenager they want to question over a string of burglaries.
Officers from Sussex Police are investigating the spate of early-morning raids on properties including family homes in Hove.
The first burglary occurred at Elliott’s Estate Agents in Queen’s Parade at 5.30am on August 24, when an iPad Mini and a leather briefcase were stolen.
A flat in Wayfield Avenue was hit around 30 minutes later and a Toshiba laptop and set of speakers were taken.
Two break-ins were also attempted at Holmes Avenue half an hour after the flat raid.
The suspect is white, aged around 15 or 16 and was seen wearing a dark blue hooded coat with a yellow emblem on it.
He also wore black trousers, white trainers and had a rucksack.
Another teenager caught on CCTV in the area has come forward and been interviewed by officers voluntarily.
The 18-year-old has been released pending further investigations.
Detective Constable James Botting said: ‘We are linking these burglaries and attempted burglaries which all happened in the same area at a similar time.
‘We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the youth in the CCTV images or has any information about these incidents. Please get in touch.’
Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or ring 101 quoting serial 210 of 24/08.
