Corinne Foxx is perhaps best known for being the daughter of Oscar winner Jamie – but the 24-year-old celebrity offspring is proving that she has plenty of her own star power, without needing to borrow an ounce from her famous father.
The model and actress has clearly learned a thing or two from the Ray star about confidence in front of the camera, a skill which shines through in her latest major shoot – a holiday campaign for fashion retailer Nasty Gal.
Corinne, who has previously modeled for the likes of Ralph Lauren and Dolce & Gabbana, looks every inch the A-lister as she poses up a storm in the images, while showcasing the brand’s sparkly new Party Shop collection.
Looking totally at ease in front of the lens, Corinne can be seen showing off her enviably trim figure while modeling an array of party-ready attire, including a snakeskin-print crop top and matching flared pants, and a glittery blazer-style dress.
The pieces in the collection are designed to prepare anyone for a festive night out on the town, with many of the designs featuring a sparkling element of some kind, whether it’s a metallic thread, sequins, or a shimmering fabric.
In true party girl style, many of the pieces also allow the wearer to flash a little bit of skin, courtesy of short hemlines, plunging necklines, and sheer fabrics.
One of the most stand-out styles from Corinne’s campaign is a glitzy blazer-and-pant combo that she can be seen modeling with no shirt, posing in a provocative snap with the blazer open to show a flash of a body chain.
Another blazer-style piece, which Corinne chose to wear to a dinner celebrating the launch of the campaign, is a double-breasted thigh-skimming purple dress that features a plunging neckline.
For her celebratory night on the town, Corinne styled the piece with a pair of black ankle boots, wearing her dark hair in a straight, but textured, style around her shoulders.
She also amped up the glamour with a sexy smokey eye, as well as a bold contour and highlight look.
A similar style is also available in a dazzling white style that is covered in sequins – and which Corinne rocks with a holographic belt in her campaign shoot.
But for Corinne, fashion isn’t all about how you look.
The entrepreneur, who founded her own company, Foxx Tales, which aims to boost the profiles of female-owned businesses, says that she hopes to use her profile within the industry to further her philanthropic interests.
‘My favorite work that I do is when I get to blend my philanthropic side and fashion,’ she said in an interview for the Nasty Gal website.
‘Fashion is a beautiful art form, but if you can incorporate messages of social change in that world. Blending those two worlds is what I hope to do.’
The budding fashion star also paid tribute to her parents as being her biggest inspiration day-to-day, praising them for instilling an excellent work ethic in their children.
‘[My parents] have completely different careers but they wake up every single day and love what they do,’ she revealed.
‘They could work 24/7, not in a bad way, but in a more inspiring way. Because of them, I always felt like I never wanted to settle for a job I didn’t love.
‘My mom is an accountant–she can’t wait to help people with their taxes. My dad is an actor and he loves his job.’
Away from her family, Corinne credits Natalie Portman and Rashida Jones as her greatest role models, saying of the two screen stars: ‘They both went to Harvard and they’re really successful in the entertainment industry.
‘Growing up I decided to prioritize my education early on before getting in to the entertainment industry.’
