Man Utd information: Jose Mourinho requested about January switch plans… right here’s his response

MANCHESTER UNITED manager Jose Mourinho refused to open up on the January transfer window when asked about his plans.

The Special One was speaking ahead of the clash with Bournemouth in the Premier League tomorrow.

Reports this week have suggested Mourinho will have £100m to spend in January.

That’s after a disappointing summer in which United added Fred, Lee Grant and Diogo Dalot to their ranks.

But Mourinho was left angry at not signing a central defender as well.

“I think in this moment we have to focus on ourselves and to do better or get better results”

United were linked with the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Jerome Boateng and Harry Maguire.

But Mourinho wants to focus on his side improving their form rather than looking ahead to the transfer window re-opening.

“I think in this moment we have to focus on ourselves and to do better or get better results,” the Portuguese explained.

“I think is very difficult, for example, to go to Stamford Bridge and do better what we did in terms of performance. We had three points in our pocket and left with only one.

“In other matches we should have better results and until end of December we have to focus on what we have in potential, what we have in problems, what we have in quality and try to go.

“Because in this moment we are outside the top four and we have to push hard and to work hard and try to get into this top four position.”

United currently sit eighth in the Premier League, nine points behind Manchester City.

But Mourinho insists the mood in the dressing room is good.

“The mood is fine, our last couple of weeks was positive,” he said.

“Let’s say second-half against Newcastle, then the match against Chelsea, against Juventus was really hard and the team fought hard, so was not – apart from the result – a negative performance.

“And then another positive in some moments, very positive game against Everton, the mood is positive, is fine.”

Bournemouth host United at 12.30pm tomorrow lunchtime in the Premier League.
