Man Utd information: Juventus cautious of damage CRISIS earlier than Champions League showdown in Turin

JUVENTUS manager Massimiliano Allegri has revealed his squad is suffering a potential injury crisis ahead of Manchester United’s visit.

Jose Mourinho’s men travel to Turin on Wednesday for their Champions League Group H showdown.

United lost the reverse fixture at Old Trafford 1-0 thanks to a Paulo Dybala goal.

And the Red Devils will be looking for revenge in Italy this week, having hit a good run of form domestically.

Juventus have had next to no trouble on the field this season, having shone since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

They have won 10 out of 11 Serie A games, drawing the other.

Meanwhile in the champions League, the Old Lady have three wins from three against United, Valencia and Young Boys without conceding.

Juventus edged out Cagliari yesterday as they maintained their impressive start to the campaign.

But Allegri is now concerned about availabilities for Wednesday’s European game, offering a boost to United.

He revealed: “Douglas Costa had a muscle problem, (Miralem) Pjanic was starting to feel a bit tired and (Blaise) Matuidi sustained a knock.

“(Giorgio) Chiellini will be available on Wednesday and (Federico) Bernardeschi should be too.

“As for (Mario) Mandzukic, we need to take a look at his ankle and assess him.”

Allegri also has concerns about his team’s vulnerabilities, as he added: “We must do better defensively in our own half. We take too many things for granted. We assume we’ll score two or three goals every game, but we can’t always do that. We have to be capable of grinding out 1-0 wins too.

“We need to keep clear heads at all times, otherwise we can concede from the opposition’s first cross and then almost concede another from Cagliari’s only chance in the second half.

“It’s one of the few things we’re not doing so well, and we must work on it and concentrate more. Now we can focus on Manchester United.

“We must try to secure our place in the next round on Wednesday.”
