Match of the Day working order: When are Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd being proven?


ARSENAL, Liverpool and Manchester United were all in Premier League action today – but when will they be shown on Match of the Day?

Match of the Day returns to BBC One this evening and host Gary Lineker took to Twitter to announce the running order.

First up is Arsenal’s clash with Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season while the Gunners could go to within a point of their opponents with a win.

Leicester’s trip to Cardiff went ahead despite the tragic death of chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in a helicopter accident last weekend.

Claude Puel’s side travelled to south Wales hoping to get back to winning ways.

West Ham met Burnley at the London Stadium while Wolves entertained Tottenham.

Jose Mourinho was desperate to ease the pressure on him but his side faced a tough test at high-flying Bournemouth.

Everton welcomed Brighton to Goodison Park and the programme will be concluded by winless Newcastle’s game against Watford.

Premier League action continues throughout the weekend.

Manchester City host Southampton at the Etihad tomorrow afternoon before Chelsea take on Crystal Palace.

And this week’s action will be rounded off by Huddersfield versus Fulham on Monday.

Tonight’s programme will be shown on BBC One at 10.30pm.
