MEGHAN MARKLE has made a lot of changes to her lifestyle since tying the knot to Prince Harry – including her fashion sense.
Since the glorious wedding in May, Meghan Markle has been adjusting to life as a member of the Royal Family.
Tying the knot to Prince Harry – who turned 34 today – meant that she had to give up many things, including her favourite “filthy and sexy” food.
And ever since the ceremony at Windsor Castle, everyone has been keeping a close eye on her fashion sense.
According to her make-up artist, Daniel Martin, the Duchess of Sussex has had to give up one very important item.
“She’s gotten more comfortable doing her own make-up”
He told People her routine has changed since becoming a royal and there’s one type of make-up she’s not allowed to wear.
Daniel said: “She’s gotten more comfortable doing her own make-up. She loves make-up and she’s good at it.
“She’s been doing her make-up herself. She’s not fussy – she’s just trying to get it on and get out the door.”
The make-up artist first started with the 37-year-old back in her Suits days and discussed how her look has changed ever since.
“She likes a stronger eye, her brow is a lot more defined now,” Daniel explained.
“But it’s still her. If anything, she’s going to experiment with different tones and now that she’s more tan she’s use warmer colours. But she doesn’t stray too far from her technique, she’s very formulaic with her routine.”
And one make-up product you’ll never see Meghan wearing anymore is red lipstick.
Daniel explained: “The one time she did a red lip, she just didn’t feel comfortable with it.
“She likes to talk and she’s not a fussy person, so she doesn’t want to have to worry about anything.
“They have so many engagements, you have to stick with what you know and feel comfortable and confident and just own it.”
Meghan, along with the Duchess of Cambridge and the Queen, has to stick to a number of strict fashion rules.
When on official business, royal women must only wear subtle pinks or clear nail polish.
And the Duchess must avoid wearing trousers in public as it’s breaking royal protocols.
Although, this hasn’t stopped her in the past as she tested the boundaries by flaunting a gorgeous chic black suit at the WellChild Awards.
