A mother-of-three is raffling off her very Instagram-friendly home worth £425,000 – for just £35 a ticket.
Joanne Caira, from Kirkcaldy, Fife, is selling her five-bedroom home via a competition after spending the past year renovating it.
She has been documenting her latest project on her Instagram account, The Home That Jo Made, which has over 70,000 followers.
The mother-of-three said she hopes the competition might help someone get onto the property ladder, adding that some of the profits from the ticket sales will go to charity.
The large family home consists of five double bedrooms, two reception rooms, along with a hi-spec open plan kitchen.
Thanks to Joanne’s background in property developing, the interior of the property is bang-on-trend – making it very Instagram-friendly.
Speaking about her decision to raffle off the house, she told FEMAIL: ‘I’d love to play a part in changing someone’s life.
‘Perhaps someone who isn’t currently on the property ladder or someone who needs a boost in life.
‘The winner may wish keep the house, sell it straight away or perhaps rent it out. Either way, it’s a life changing prize to win.’
Explaining how her competition differs from others, she added: ‘I have personally designed and renovated this property over the last year into a beautiful family home – ready for someone to move into.
‘My followers have been on this journey with me and seen the house transformed – from my 3am painting sessions to trying to juggle family life mid renovations!’
Joanne and her husband are hoping to sell between 20,000 and 30,000 tickets, which are priced at £35, by December.
A winner will be picked depending on who corrected guess where the ball was hidden in an image.
If the minimum ticket sales of 20,000 are not met, a winner will still be chosen and receive 70 per cent of the funds raiser.
