SPICE Girls will be returning to the stage and reprising their old alter-egos.
Mel B has revealed after months of speculation that a Spice Girls reunion tour is definitely happening.
After the plans of a tour being debated for months, fans were just about losing hope of ever seeing their favourites back on screen.
But it seems not all hope is lost, as Mel B has confirmed on The Late Late Show with James Corden that she will be reprising her role as Scary Spice.
Although there is a twist with the comeback, as Victoria Beckham hasn’t confirmed whether she will be joining the gang on stage.
“Of course it’s happening, it is 100% happening”
Talking to James Corden, Mel said: “Of course it’s happening, it is 100% happening.
“We’re gonna be going on tour.
“It’ll be the four of us for sure.”
When James questioned whether Victoria will be joining them too, she said: “Posh? We’ll see about that one. Us four definitely will.
“She might join us for a few – well, she better do.”
Throwing out some ideas to help kickstart the reunion, Olivia Munn questioned if they’d considered getting some celebrity guests to play Posh Spice.
Mel admitted that she had considered that already, adding that she thinks Katy Perry would make a good Posh.
While it’s been years since the ladies have reunited as Spice Girls, it appears that Mel B never truly let her inner Scary Spice go.
She revealed that she still has all of her old outfits from the ’90s, adding: “I was going through storage and I couldn’t leave all of my Spice Girls clothes in a box.
“So I made a shrine thing… It sounds self indulgent but I’m proud about what us five girls accomplished over the years.”
The Spice girls had their heyday in the ’90s before splitting in 2000.
While they’ve briefly teamed up again in the years since, fans have been waiting for a true reunion tour which appears to be on its way.
