Strictly stars break free from the skimpiest dance costumes

SIZZLING celebs and Strictly pros a like have suffered some epic wardrobe malfunctions over the years.

Strictly is famous for its curse amongst contestants for romances and shock splits during the show, but the dance floor has also been plagued with a stream of epic, live blunders.

Only last week the stage was hit once again by an embarrassing phenomenon.

While performing an explosively energetic Salsa alongside CBeebies presenter Dr Ranj Singh, pro dancer Janette Manrara risked putting all on show.

Ramping up the sex appeal, Janette wrapped her legs around his waist in one of the hottest dance routines of the night but as she moved away her heel caught on the ruffle of her skirt.

Avoiding any major overexposure, the 34-year-old styled out the wardrobe malfunction, merely escaping with a little rip.

Not all were so lucky as we take a look back at some of the hottest wardrobe malfunctions on the show.

Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey had to be one of the most memorable as she danced a sizzling Tango with Pasha Kovalev back in 2011.

Sweeping across the stage with grace, Chelsee panicked as her plunging dress slipped down, exposing viewers to an eye-popping display mid dance routine.

Though the now 30-year-old prevented her dress from revealing all in the struggle, the young starlet was mortified, bursting into tears as host Bruce Forsyth tired to console her.

Such a costume mishap is enviable on a show like this, as Ola Jordan was faced with a similar dilemma on the 2015 ballroom series.

During the launch, Ola was introduced to her new dance partner and former athlete Iwan Thomas, in his excitement he swirled the blonde bombshell around his back, but ended up giving Ola more than she bargained for.

Taking to Twitter after the show, Ms Jordan revealed all about her costume disaster: “Ha ha! @Iwanrunner. Brilliant! In this 1 second he ripped my skirt, broke my nail and my boob popped out! This is going to be a great series.”

Even in the Live shows dancers we struck down, dancing up a storm with Casualty actor Patrick Robinson, Anya Garnis got herself in a bit of a smouldering tangle.

Dancing the Samba and wiggling her snake hips, Anya kicked back her pins in a flesh-flashing gold number, catching her heel in her flowing back feathers.

Still looking sensationally sexy, the Russian-born babe didn’t let it faze her at all as she hopped around on one foot with Patrick seamlessly carrying on around her.

The female dancers were not the only ones to suffer as boxer Anthony Ogogo and choreographer Brendan Cole both split their trousers on stage, exposing their undies for all to see.
