VICTORIA Beckham has spoken out after it was finally confirmed she has refused to rejoin the Spice Girls.
For months, reports have claimed David Beckham’s wife had repeatedly defied her bandmates and insisted she would not take to the stage ever again as one-fifth of the Spice Girls.
Now, as Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Mel B, and Emma Bunton officially announce their 2019 stadium tour – Posh Spice has opened up.
In a short statement, Victoria said: “Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour.
“I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans, past and present, are going to have a wonderful time!”
The official line is that Victoria simply can not rejoin the group due to “business commitments”.
However, despite the power of five becoming four, Victoria’s no-show hasn’t dampened Mel B’s spirit.
She said: “I’ve said it sooo many times I’m beside myself it’s actually happening yipppeeee.
“I’m now properly screaming it from every rooftop, me and my girls will see you all on stage!”
Awkwardly, Mel was so excited she took to Instagram to incorrectly state when tickets go on sale.
She wrote: “Tickets go on sale this Friday at 1030am screaming my head off wow wow we wa.”
However, in reality tickets go on sale 24 hours later, 10.30am Saturday November 10.
It has been confirmed there will be no pre-sale access.
