THIS sickening footage shows thugs beat up a traffic warden and stamp on his head before robbing his motorbike.
Cops are hunting the gang after the shocking daylight attack caught on camera yesterday in Alum Rock, Birmingham.
Disturbing video shows the traffic warden on the floor as two masked men repeatedly kick him in the head.
The brutes in all black jump and down on his helmet in the middle of the street.
It appears the council worker’s bike is then driven away from the scene as he lies helpless on the floor.
Birmingham Live reports that city councillor Waseem Zaffar hit out at the “thugs” who targeted the officer.
“This horrendous attack will not be tolerated,” he said.
Another councillor Majid Mahmoud said: “I am appalled by the despicable & disgusting attack against a front line officer by a mindless pack of thugs.
“A zero tolerance approach must be adopted and body cameras provided to all such frontline staff.”
West Midlands Police have released images of five different suspects of British Asian origin aged in their late teens or early 20s.
Det Sgt Lyons told Birmingham Live the victim did not suffer serious injuries despite the shocking level of violence.
He said: “I was absolutely furious when I saw the footage.
“The level of violence used is truly shocking, and I know every right-minded person who views it will share that anger.
“We’ve already spoken to the victim. CCTV and other enquiries have already begun, but people in the community will know who these men are. I
“’d urge them to examine their conscience and do the right thing and give us the names.”
