X FACTOR’S Danny Tetley reckons he knows who will win this year’s show.
This year’s X Factor contestant Danny Tetley is certain he won’t win the show, but thinks he knows who will.
The 37-year-old appeared on This Morning today alongside Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes to talk about his journey on the show.
But even though he’s enjoying the process, he doesn’t think he’ll make the final, let alone win.
He told a surprised Ruth and Eamonn: “I’m not going to win it. I know who is, I’ve got a good feeling.
“I’m not going to win it. I know who is, I’ve got a good feeling”
“I think the final three will be Dalton, Shan and Scarlett. They’re in a league of their own.”
Dalton Harris is currently the favourite to win, with Betfair giving him odds of 6/4.
Shan is the second favourite to win at 11/4, while Scarlett Lee is middle of the pack at 12/1.
At the other end of the spectrum, Danny is second favourite to be the next eliminated at 7/2.
Only Giovanni Spanno, also in Ayda Field’s Overs category, is more likely to be given the boot, at 3/1.
Danny caused a bit of controversy after comments made last week about the song choices of the other contestants.
He told Ruth and Eamonn: “I’m a very proud Yorkshireman and I say what I think, when I think.
“If it was Opera Week, you wouldn’t have someone singing Slipknot. In Motown Week, you wouldn’t sing Frank Sinatra.”
Danny sang Crazy for You by Madonna, which he described as one of his genuine guilty pleasures, which was last week’s theme.
He said he thought other contestants simply sang songs they could perform well, rather than their actual guilty pleasure.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
