GUESTS were left in stitches after noticing one hilarious typo on a wedding day menu.
When it comes to planning a wedding, a lot comes into consideration.
Choosing the location and deciding on a menu is one of the most important details to bear in mind.
But one couple forgot to double check their wedding day plan and left many giggling with a small typo.
Sharing the cringeworthy mistake on the Awkward Family Photos Instagram page, newlyweds Theresa and Jason helpfully provided guests with a running order for their “unplugged wedding”.
“At a friend’s wedding. I can’t wait for 3.30!”
With the ceremony starting at 3pm and dinner not until 5.30pm, the couple decided to treat their guests to appetisers.
But instead of labelling it as hors d’oeuvres – as they are commonly known in the US – the lovebirds accidentally revealed “Horse Ovaries” would be served.
Posting the awkward spelling mistake to their 545,000 followers, the user captioned the image: “At a friend’s wedding. I can’t wait for 3.30!”
Unsurprisingly, many people on Instagram poked fun at the hilarious blunder.
One wrote: “Not surprised that they banned cell phones. Horse ovaries are best when not eaten in public.”
Another added: “I’m picturing a staff member at the end of the receiving line with their tray of hors d’oeuvres that everyone is too afraid to take…”
And this isn’t the only awkward spelling mistake in recent weeks.
Last month, one eagle-eyed shopper noticed a blunder on one of Primark’s stationary items.
On the silver slogan planner, the words “In case no one told you today… You rock” is emblazoned on the front.
However, the low budget store’s rogue mistake is inside the £2.50 diary.
Inside the planner, the word Saturday is mistakenly spelt “Satureday”.
