MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho could be forced to field a severely-depleted side against Arsenal on Wednesday.
Ashley Young is suspended for the visit of the Gunners after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign at St Mary’s.
Former Gunners star Alexis Sanchez and central defender Victor Lindelof will miss the Londoners’ visit due to injury.
Lindelof was The Red Devils’ player of the month for November and his absence would be a big blow for Mourinho.
When asked by BT Sport who will be available for the game against Arsenal, Mourinho replied: “I don’t know.
“Victor Lindelof is an important injury. Alexis Sanchez is an important injury. Ashley Young is suspended.
“If Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly are ready – if they are ready to train tomorrow it wouldn’t be a surprise.”
Unai Emery’s side are now eight points ahead of the Old Trafford outfit.
Herrera said: “I know we are far from the top four but we cannot go crazy now about the table.
“The only thing we can do is give everything on Wednesday against Arsenal and then Saturday against Fulham.
“But we did the most difficult thing [on Saturday] and not the easiest thing which was to kill the game at that moment.
“Half-time came at the wrong time but it is not an excuse.
“We were in a good moment and should have kept that energy.”
