O2 wants you to know that it will also be offering the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G on its network, joining Vodafone and EE. The service provider is also be the only one in the UK to stock the Samsung Galaxy S10 devices – including the S10, S10+ and S10e – in the new Prism Blue colour.
The handset is launching on June 7, a month before Vodafone’s 5G rollout. Neither EE nor O2 have provided dates for when their 5G network will go live but O2’s “four corners of the UK” 5G plan is set to hit Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh and London later this year.
“O2’s 5G network will arrive in the four corners of the UK in 2019 and we want the next-generation of mobile services to launch with the very latest devices in the market,” said Nina Bibby, CMO at O2. “5G promises faster speeds and improved network experience that will open up a whole new world of possibilities for our customers. That’s why we’re thrilled to be bringing the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G to O2 customers later this year.”
You can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G from May 22, and it’ll probably set you back around £950 for 256GB and £1,050 for 512GB.
