Bethesda has begun addressing the newest controversy surrounding . To summarize, soon after the game’s launch, fans found that the $200 they bought didn’t come with the canvas bag that was promised on the store, but instead included a nylon bag of much lower quality.

Today, Bethesda announced that Collector’s Edition owners will finally be able to get the canvas bag that was originally promoted (the store description no longer says canvas.) They will have to jump through a few hoops to get them, however.

We are finalizing manufacturing plans for replacement canvas bags for the Fallout 76: Power Armor Edition. If you purchased the CE, please visit https://t.co/S5ClEZuQrx and submit a ticket by Jan. 31, 2019. We’ll arrange to send you a replacement as soon as the bags are ready.

As the company tweeted, the replacement canvas bags for the plastic ones will be sent out to those who fill out the “Power Armor Edition Bag Replacement Request Form” with proof of purchase in Bethesda’s support page. There is no exact shipping date attached for the new bags, but the offer will stop being available on January 31, 2019, so anyone looking to grab the missing item will need to be quick.

This is effectively a much better response to the situation than what the company offered last week, where 500 Atoms – $4.99 worth of credits for s microtransaction store – were made available to those who bought the $200 edition. The new move should somewhat help in calming down the fires surrounding the game.
