Almost two weeks after Patch Tuesday, Microsoft updated its changelogs for the cumulative updates to reflect a bug in Windows Media Player. The issue prevented the user from seeing the Seek Bar in the app.

Mainly, the Windows 10 October 2018 Update, or version 1809, took the heat for the issue, given how many issues the feature update has had. Still, all versions that got an update on November 13 were affected.

The good news is that Microsoft has once again updated its changelogs. Instead of saying that the issue will be fixed in a future update, the firm now says that it will be fixed in mid-December. Given that Patch Tuesday falls on December 11 this month, it seems likely that that will be the time that it gets fixed.

Windows 10 version 1809, however, is one of the only supported versions of Windows 10, aside from the original version, to not get a second cumulative update last month. Windows Insiders on the Release Preview ring have gotten a few though, so those on the latest version of Windows 10 should get a long list of fixes.
