LOVE Island’s Laura Crane rushed to hospital after Sepsis diagnosis
Love Island’s Laura Crane was rushed to hospital following a sepsis diagnosis.
Laura was rushed into hospital on Tusday before they quickly diagnosed it as sepsis, which if left untreated can be life-threatening.
She’s shared snaps on her Instagram about being in hospital but it was unconfirmed what put her there.
The 23-year-old has been kept in for the past three days, and she’s hoping that she’ll get released today.
Her rep revealed to The Sun Online: “Laura is sadly quite unwell. She was rushed in on Tuesday and they quickly diagnosed sepsis.
“A scary time for her and her family but we’re praying she makes a full recovery in the next couple of days.”
They added that they’re still looking to control her temperature but the infection had spread quite rapidly.
The babe took to Instagram to share that she was okay, writing: “Thanks for all your get well messages… Health is wealth people.”
She later added on her Instagram story: “No more hospitals I beg… Pray that I go home today.”
Laura ended up in hospital after a busy few weeks following Love Island, where she met her former beau Jack Fowler.
The pair sadly split soon after leaving the villa after not being able to spend time together.
At the time, Laura revealed: “Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together.
“Feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life.
“We will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.”
