Man Utd line-up CONFIRMED: Lukaku out of squad, Rashford dropped, shock defender on bench

MANCHESTER UNITED LINE-UP CONFIRMED: The Red Devils are taking on Bournemouth today as they look to get their season back on track.

United go into the match with just two wins in seven while the Cherries sit three points ahead of them in the league.

Mourinho has come under immense pressure in recent months but found joy with a new attacking system against Everton last week.

Lukaku was dropped for Marcus Rashford, whose wilful running in behind allowed the likes of Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba to flourish.

It has been a miserable couple of months for the Belgium intertnational, though, who has now gone nine games without a goal for his club.

The Belgian has always been a favourite of The Special One, who stuck by the former Everton striker during a similar barren run last year.

But Mourinho means business this year – and has taken no prisoners.

It is not clear whether or not the striker suffered an injury but Mourinho revealed that there was no new trouble on that front yesterday.

He said: “A very good week. We work tactically, we improve some fitness levels.

“We improved some of the players that were almost there but not there – Lingard, Alexis – these kind of players, that were already available but not yet at a good level.

“We trained with our kids too. They mixed with us on one of the days, which is an amazing feeling for them.

“Dalot and Fellaini are still out. The only one that went one step behind was Antonio Valencia with some problem in his knee. But Lingard and Alexis, now I can say ‘ready.’”

United XI: De Gea, Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Fred, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Sanchez, Martial

Bench: Romero, Darmian, Jones, Herrera, McTominay, Lingard, Rashford
