KATE Silverton is having to receive medical attention after an injury.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec, revealed on Twitter that she has “stripped” her rib muscle.
Kate Silverton, 48, posted a video to fans which saw her undergoing treatment for the injury under the eye of a medic.
The BBC news presenter didn’t seem too worried though as she giggled away while breathing in pain medication Entonox.
Kate, who was laying on the floor, told her 52,000 followers: “The last time I did this was in childbirth which was really good, actually I’ve forgotten how good it was.
“I’ve somehow stripped the muscle in my rib on my best dance, on my best dance”
“I’ve somehow stripped the muscle in my rib on my best dance, on my best dance.”
Despite the injury, Kate said she would be performing on tonight’s show.
As well as address the camera herself, Kate got the medic in on the action so he could tell fans what she was doing.
He revealed: “It’s nitrogen and oxygen which is used to relax the muscles, which is why Kate is on the floor at the moment and she’s constantly sucking on it like it’s a cigar.”
Powering through though, the brunette claimed she was soon having her fake tan done though, ready for tonight’s show.
She concluded: “This is how we roll in showbusiness!”
Kate’s injury comes after fellow Strictly 2018 Stacey Dooley ended up in hospital this week as she thought she’d broken a bone.
Stacey, 31, posted a photo from the hospital bed on Tuesday, however confirmed she was okay.
She told her 324,000 followers: “Nothing’s broke! All the drugs and all the cuppas gonna hook us up!”
Stacey also seemed to confirm she would still be performing on this weekend’s show.
She added: “See you Sat! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH TO ALL THE STAFF. You are all bloody amazing.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One tonight at 7:05pm.
