TYSON FURY has revealed how he was banned from popular online website Wikipedia after he was caught doing something hilarious to Wladimir Klitschko’s page.
Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is getting ready to return to the ring on December 1 against Deontay Wilder.
It will be the Gypsy King’s third comeback fight, following more than two years out of the ring since his previous bout against Klitschko.
The 30-year-old travelled to Dusseldorf, Germany, in 2015 and sensationally beat the Ukrainian after 12 rounds.
And now he has revealed a hilarious tactic he used to get to his rival.
“I got banned from Wikipedia”
Fury appeared on BT Sport’s No Filter series, where he was quizzed on the rumour he used to edit Klitschko’s Wikipedia page.
“Yes, it’s true, until I got banned from Wikipedia,” he said.
“It’s a public site and I wanted to prove that anyone can write anything they want.
“So if you want to go on there and edit my profile you can.
“And because I’m the lineal champion, someone keeps going on there and putting ‘retired’, but I’m not, so I have to change it back.”
The clip was uploaded to BT Sport’s YouTube channel, where it has racked up 60,000 hits.
“Hahaha this guy is just amazing, hope he knocks out Wilder,” one fan claimed.
Another added: “Bet it is Eddie Hearn editing the page.”
And a third claimed: “Chilling outside in the middle of winter barefoot, wearing a pair of boxer shorts, a T-Shirt and a Rolex – The Gypsy King.”
