Asda launches massive toy sale with up to 50% off hundreds of toys

ASDA has launched a huge toy sale with up to 50% off – and it could be a good chance for parents to stock up on Christmas presents.

The sale includes discounts on hundreds of toys including Lego, Peppa Pig and Trolls.

Some of the best deals include almost £25 off a Lego set, originally worth £50.

The sale is live on the Asda website now and in store – although the supermarket hasn’t said when it finishes.

Asda has slightly different toys available in stock depending on whether you shop online or in store, but both will have up to 50% off.

If you’re buying online, delivery is free on orders over £30. You can also click and collect for free.

For purchases under this amount, there’s a £2.95 standard delivery charge.

Or if you fancy browsing in person, you can use the Asda store finder to see where your nearest shop is.

Before you part ways with any cash, we’d always recommend comparing prices online to make sure you’ve found the best deal.

Google’s price comparison tool, Google Shopping, is free and easy to use.

The below are some of our top picks from the online Asda toy sale:

This Lego gift set comes with a staggering 1,500 pieces – perfect for creations.

As well as coming in more than 20 colours, the shapes include bricks, wheelbarrows, doors and eyes.

The next best price for this Lego kit is a pricier £39.99, including delivery, from eBay.

Dancing Poppy sings and grooves to songs from the hit Dreamworks film Trolls World Tour, including “Trolls Just Wanna Have Fun”.

She stands at 44cm tall and is battery operated – and the batteries come included.

This is the cheapest we could find Poppy selling for, with online retailer OnBuy.com stocking the same doll for £23.40 with delivery.

This cute kitchen set will have your child wanting to cook up dinner for the whole family.

But bear in mind it doesn’t come with accessories, such as plates and pots and pans, so you’ll need to purchase these separately.

John Lewis sells a similar wooden kitchen for the same price of £35 with £3.50 for delivery, or free click and collect.

This impressive giant giraffe stands at 6ft tall – but as it’s inflatable, you can easily store it away once your child is finished playing.

Asda says it’s also machine washable.

Amazon sells the same size Inflate-A-Mals giraffe for a pricier £39.99 with delivery included.

This Peppa Pig dressing table features a crown-shaped light-up mirror and plays Peppa Pig sounds from the TV show.

It also comes with a battery-operated roleplay hairdryer, hair clips, tiara, wand and Peppa-themed jewellery.

The same Peppa Pig dressing table costs £50 from Argos with £3.95 for delivery, or free click and collect.

Visit the animals at the zoo with this Playmobil penguin enclosure set.

It comes with four Playmobil figures, two penguins, two monkeys plus 15 more accessories.

Argos charges a more expensive £35 plus £3.95 for delivery, or free click and collect, for the same toy.

George at Asda has also launched a massive sale on baby essentials including 55% off Tommee Tippee.

The Sun has rounded up predictions for when Christmas toy sales at Sainsbury’s, Argos and Morrisons will start.
