B&Q is selling a Lay-Z Spa hot tub that fits three people in at once for the bargain price of £279.
The St Lucia AirJet hot tub is new this year and designed for people who don’t have a lot of outdoor space – ideal “for those who live in towns and cities”.
That’s because at 170cm wide and 66cm tall, it’s smaller than the other hot tubs in the range.
This particular pool fits three people in at the same time, whereas normally a hot tub fits at least four in one go.
But because of its size, it has a smaller price tag making it more affordable.
For example, the next cheapest option from Lay-Z Spa directly is the Barbados AirJet that fits up to four people but it costs £599.
The St Lucia hot tub comes with a rapid heating system that warms up to 40C, although it can be adjusted to cooler temperatures if you would prefer.
The pool comes with an 80 AirJet massage system that helps you relax when taking a dip.
Unfortunately though, you will have to put it together yourself as it doesn’t come ready to use.
We couldn’t find anywhere else selling the St Lucia version so you really are getting a good deal at B&Q.
The next best price we could find for an inflatable hot tub was £320 for the Lay-Z Spa Cancun from Argos, which holds up to four people at a time.
The hot tub is available to buy online from B&Q and qualifies for free delivery because it’s over £50. Large orders that costs less than that normally come with a £10 charge.
Alternatively you can can order it through click and collect and pick it up from your nearest store, without any extra charges.
In June, eBay reported sales of hot tubs were up 1,080 per cent as homeowners splashed out on their gardens.
They proved so popular during lockdown that Brits were flogging them on eBay and Gumtree for double the price.
Shoppers are being warned about hot tub scams where crooks advertise products that don’t exist to steal your money.
