The move comes months after President Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan sent out its last stimulus check in March.
If your household includes a family of three without an income and you live in New Hampshire, you may be eligible for a (dollar)1,086 check.
Other states are now releasing financial incentives to help mitigate the financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
What each state is doing
Alaska residents may be eligible for additional funds through the Federal-State Extended Benefits program, which would provide 13 to 20 weeks of additional checks.
Arizona’s Back to Work Program provides a one-time (dollar)1,000 payment to unemployed people who work part-time, and a (dollar)2,000 payment to unemployed people who start working full-time.
California: The Golden State Stimulus entitles people earning between $30,000 and $75,000 to receive (dollar)500 to (dollar)600 checks, plus an additional (dollar)500 to households with dependents.
Colorado: From March to October 2020, anyone who received an unemployment check will receive a (dollar)375 check.
Connecticut’s Back to Work program provides a (dollar)1,000 check to eligible applicants who return to work after an eight-week layoff.
Florida: A (dollar)1000 check will be given to teachers and administrators.
Georgia: Following Florida’s lead, the peach state will award full-time teachers and administrators (dollar)1000 checks, while part-time teachers will receive (dollar)500.
Idaho residents will soon be eligible for a one-time tax rebate.
Maryland has repealed state and local taxes on unemployment benefits and set aside $720 million for farmworkers, meat packers, and grocery store employees.
Teachers in Michigan will receive a (dollar)500 hazard pay bonus from the state.
A check for (dollar)1200 is available to 116,000 Minnesota residents.
Families with children in Missouri are eligible for a temporary Child Care Subsidy.
Working families in Nevada can receive a Child Tax Credit of (dollar)3000 to (dollar)3600.
Families of three without a source of income in New Hampshire can receive a (dollar)1086 check.
New Mexico has set aside (dollar)5 million to assist low-income residents who have been affected by the pandemic.
Ohio has set aside (dollar)46 million to help needy students.
Oklahoma: The state of Oklahoma’s panhandle has set aside (dollar)13 million to assist in the payment of student teachers.
Teachers in Tennessee were given hazard pay checks worth (dollar)1000.
Utah: Selected residents received three rounds of payments totaling (dollar)2784.
