Hundreds of millions of Americans could receive (dollar)1,800 by the end of 2021 – see if you qualify.

AS PART OF THE EXPANDED CHILD TAX CREDIT PAYMENTS, STRUGGLING Americans could get a (dollar)1,800 boost by the end of the year.

It comes after 36 million families received cash earlier this week to help them recover from the effects of the covid pandemic on their finances.

So far, the expanded Child Credit scheme by Covidera has been a success.

According to a Columbia University study, the payments helped lift three million children out of poverty within the first month of receiving them.

The monthly payments, however, are not used by every family.

According to a University of Michigan study, one out of every ten eligible families has not yet received their child tax credit payments.

Families with children under the age of six can receive (dollar)300 for each child under the age of six, and children aged six to seventeen can receive (dollar)250.

The payments were made between July and December 2021, which means that a family with one child under the age of six will have received (dollar)1,800 by the end of the advanced payments in December.

If you want to claim the tax credits for the first time this year, you’ll have to wait until next year.

This is due to the GetCTC’s November 15 deadline, which effectively closed applications for the rest of the year.

But don’t worry if you missed the deadline; you’ll be able to claim by filing a tax return in 2021 if you’re eligible.

Once that’s done, you can expect to receive thousands of dollars from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

You’ll get (dollar)3,600 for each child under the age of six and (dollar)3,000 for each child aged six to seventeen if you file your taxes next year.

Families who are set to receive up to (dollar)1,800 in payments this year will be able to claim the remaining half on their tax returns.

If you opted out because of concerns about your financial situation or filing status changing, you may still be able to claim child tax credits on your tax return.

It’s possible, for example, that you overestimated your earnings.

However, consult with a tax professional to see if you qualify for any child tax credits.
