365 DNI fans need Netflix to ‘hurry up’ with sequel to ‘pornographic’ thriller

Fans of Netflix erotic thriller 365 DNI are begging the streaming giant for a sequel.

The Polish-made film followed a beautiful sales director named Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) who was kidnapped by a mafia figure Massimo (Michele Morrone) and taken to Sicily.

Once there, Massimo gave Laura a total of 365 days to fall in love with him, leading to some extremely kinky scenes that have been said to go much further than the sort in Fifty Shades of Grey, and with one scene even convincing others that the actors had real sex for the scenes.

Fans will be pleased to learn that 365 DNI is based on a novel of the same name by Blanka Lipińska, but more elated to discover that there are two other books in the series.

The second novel is entitled Ten Dzień (which means ‘This Day’) and introduces hunky Massimo’s twin brother Adriano, who walked away from his crime-ridden family for a life of studying in the UK.

365 DNI saw a cliffhanger ending leave Laura’s fate rather ambiguous as she vanished during a car journey in a tunnel, but a sequel based on the second book would see her and Massimo attempt to lead a normal life.

With the potential for marriage and a family due to Laura’s pregnancy, their world is turned upside down in the second novel when Laura is kidnapped by Marcelo “Nacho” Matos.

Naturally, the prospect of a sequel to 365 DNI has fans of the first film rather hot under the collar, which they took to social media to express.

One wrote on Twitter: “If Netflix doesn’t make a sequel to 365 dni I will be P***ED”.

A different 365 DNI fan tweeted: “Finished watching 365 Dni and I just want to know, when is the sequel coming out?”

Meanwhile, one avid follower of the film wrote: “i beg make the 365 dni sequel”.

One fan of the first film even had a casting request, commenting: “If 365 dni producers make a sequel with the trilogy , can the other mafia boss be Maluma, I’m asking for a friend”.

Another noted: “So yes, 365 DNI is pornographic, but the plot it’s also about 8 times better than 50 Shades of Grey and Michele Morrone is irresistible, so there”.

Finally, one desperate fan concluded: “365 DNI. For me not bad. But for other people maybe its bad movie.

“Can’t wait for sequel. Please netflix hurry up out with the sequel. What happen to Laura that what i want to know”.

While it seems plans for a sequel film may be in fruition, it is uncertain when it would be filmed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

So, when will we get our next Laura and Massimo fix?

Meanwhile, some viewers are concerned by the film’s portrayal of romance and think it ‘romanticises Stockholm syndrome’.

365 DNI (365 Days) is available now on Netflix.
