365 DNI hunk Michele Morrone confirms whether he will return for raunchy sequel

Actor Michele Morrone has confirmed his involvement in a sequel to Netflix erotic thriller 365 DNI.

The hunky star, 29, played mafia enforcer Massimo in the steamy film, who kidnapped heroine Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) and gave her 365 days to fall in love with him.

As they faced multiple dangers from Massimo’s criminal associates and enemies, Laura found herself falling for Massimo and his fiery passionate ways – even if it proved controversial for some viewers.

With the film based on the first novel in a trilogy, many have been expecting sequel films to the hit release – which has been regularly in Netflix’s ‘most viewed’ section since its release earlier this year.

However, will Morrone return for the sequel film?

The Italian actor was speaking with a fan on HalaHi, a platform in the Middle East similar to Cameo, where individuals can purchase personalised clips from celebrities, when he confirmed his involvement in a follow-up.

In the clip obtained by TMZ, Michele is heard saying: “The answer is yes. We’re going to shoot the second part.”

However, the ongoing nature of the coronavirus pandemic means that any sequel means that the return date for filming and, naturally, the film’s release date is up in the air.

The actor added: “We still don’t know when because of the problem the whole world’s got with [Covid-19], but for sure we will make it.”

It is likely the sequel will be based on the second novel in the book series, which is entitled Ten Dzień (which means ‘This Day’) and sees Massimo rescue Laura from evil kidnappers.

Once rescued, the pair become engaged and get married, going on to live a life of luxury together.

However, their new life together is cancelled when Laura is kidnapped by another crime boss: Marcelo “Nacho” Matos.

Has Massimo found a new rival for Laura’s heart?

The steamy scenes in the first film caused much controversy and surprise as many viewers questioned whether the leading actors had had real sex on camera – particularly in the steamy boat scene.

It is likely fans can expect similar sequences in a follow-up.

If, however, you don’t want anyone knowing you’ve been watching, then you can remove it from your history with this neat hack.

365 DNI is available now on Netflix.
