8 Tragically Murdered Professional Athletes

8 Professional Athletes Murdered Tragically

Whenever a professional athlete passes away, a large number of fans express their sorrow.

YouTube, Twitter, and other social media platforms are frequently used by younger generations to make tribute videos.

Several fans have intricate tattoos in memory of their favorite athletes.

Although, in many cases involving these athletes, questions about what caused the incident and how it could have been avoided arise.

Several professional athletes have tragically died in the course of their careers.

Some of the incidents happened after they’d only been in their sports for a few years, while others happened after they’d retired.

Investigators never found out why some of these people died.

Sports fans are familiar with big names like Sean Taylor and Steve McNair, but there have been other athletes killed who are unknown to younger generations.

This includes professional wrestlers who rose to prominence after WWII or were accused of being involved in Canadian organized crime.

Today would have been Sean Taylor’s 37th birthday.

He left it all on the field, including the Pro Bowl.

Sean Taylor was a first-round pick of the Washington Redskins in the 2004 NFL Draft, and for the first four seasons of his career, he was considered one of the best free safeties in the league.

In 2006-07, he was named to the Pro Bowl, and in 2007, he was named First-Team All-Pro.

Regrettably, he was assassinated on Nov.

On November 1st, Taylor was home alone.

When he heard intruders at the age of 26, he became suspicious.

Due to a severed femoral artery, he was shot in the upper leg and suffered significant blood loss.

He was taken to the hospital, where he died the next day.

It’s been ten years since Steve McNair passed away.

During his 13-year career, Steve McNair was a three-time Pro Bowl quarterback for the Houston Oilers, Tennessee Titans, and Baltimore Ravens.

He led the Titans to Super Bowl XXXIV, where they came close to winning the franchise’s first championship.

He also made history by becoming the first African-American quarterback to win the NFL MVP award.

McNair and his mistress, Sahel Kazemi, were discovered dead in their Nashville condo on July 4, 2009.

The couple had a fight, and Kazemi shot McNair while sleeping, according to investigators.

Suicide was the cause of her death.

Will Smith and his family are watching a video of him…
