After placing fourth in Dance Pop Revolution, Jessalynn and JoJo Siwa give feedback on their team.
New dance moves are being practiced, as well as a little tough love.
JoJo Siwa and her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, are looking for new talent for the next big kid pop group, XOMG Pop, which Jessalynn will manage.
Siwas Dance Pop Revolution, a new E! and Peacock competition series premiering tonight, Tuesday, Nov.
Fans get a behind-the-scenes look at how the mother-daughter team coaches their dance troupe in Episode 16.
“Here’s the thing: This dance would have been terrible if it hadn’t been for these costumes and her helicopter,” JoJo says as she watches a video of their team’s performance.
The entire routine is “sloppy joe,” according to Jessalynn.
Laila, a 9-year-old dancer, admits she is “a little disappointed” with the team’s fourth-place finish.
In a confessional, she adds, “It sucks very much to lose.”
Meanwhile, JoJo points out that Jessalynn has “three really strong people” in the form of Brooklyn, Gimley, and Bella.
“I thought Emily was, too,” JoJo begins.
“I just love her,” Jessalynn says.
JoJo, on the other hand, isn’t letting her feelings get in the way of her goals.
“Emily made a blunder with her turns.”
JoJo counters, “Why do you love her?”
“She had the most egregious blunder.”
“She’s having trouble with the pressure,” Jessalynn says.
Bella, 12, and Dallas, 10, both dancers, admit that they could have performed “better” on stage.
“I’m just sad because someone has to go home now.”
“I just hope it’s not me,” says Bella, the frontrunner.
“I believe Jess and JoJo are disappointed,” Dallas says.
Finally, Jessalynn and JoJo meet with the dance crew to discuss who “popped” on stage and who didn’t.
Jessalynn starts her speech with, “We got fourth.”
“I’m overjoyed that we came in fourth place.
You outsmarted more than half of the kids.
“Are you capable of doing better?”
“You definitely could have won if some mistakes hadn’t been made,” JoJo says.
“I’m looking forward to next week,” Jessalynn says, indicating the team’s bright future.
I believe I am capable of being more tenacious.
If you stay, I think some of you will have a hard time.”
The Siwas’ tough love can be seen in full in the video above.
Siwas Dance Pop Revolution airs on E! on Tuesdays.
