Cheryl Burke Teases a ‘Never Been Done in 30 Seasons’ Freestyle for the Finale of ‘Dancing with the Stars’

One of the four couples competing in the Dancing with the Stars Season 30 finale is Cheryl Burke and Cody Rigsby.

Burke is focused on the two dances she and Rigsby will perform on Monday, Nov.

21.

According to the Dancing With the Stars pro, she and her Peloton instructor partner will perform a one-of-a-kind freestyle unlike anything seen on the show in its 30 seasons.

Here’s everything we know about the DWTS season finale.

During the November performance, Rigsby and Burke performed two dances.

There are a total of 15 semi-finals in this competition.

Burke says she was taken aback when she found out they were safe from elimination because they weren’t in the bottom two.

She told Us Weekly after the episode, “This is a season that I’ll never forget.”

“It’s been a long time, and I’ve done 24 seasons in that time.”

So it served as a good reminder of how fortunate I am to be here tonight.”

It was such a joy for us to perform this redemption dance.

This season has been a wild ride, but @codyrigsby and I have finally found our stride.

The semi-finals of Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars were no exception.

Burke, like many other viewers, was taken aback by the eliminations of Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev.

In the semi-finals episode, Suni Lee and Sasha Farber were also voted off.

Burke talks about making it to the Dancing With the Stars finale with Rigsby on the “Dancing In The Finals!!!” episode of the Pretty Messed Up podcast.

On the 11th of November,

The duo will perform a fusion of cha-cha and paso doble to the same song on February 22nd, as well as a freestyle.

Burke is looking forward to the freestyle dance, which will highlight Rigsby’s personality.

However, there have been some roadblocks.

Burke explains, “The challenge right now is COVID.”

“We can’t have any more dancers near us.”

Finally, I need to figure out — and I believe I have — a way to create a freestyle that has never been done in 30 seasons.”

Burke is looking forward to Rigsby “just being Cody Rigsby.”
