The long-standing CBS soap “The Bold and the Beautiful” is the first major series to be revived since the COVID-19 pandemic and will return with several new security measures.
There will be a coordinator on the set who will oversee safety for the crew and crew as well as various precautions: the crew and crew must wear masks when not in front of the camera. Scripts are rewritten to make this possible. The number of people on the set and everyone involved is tested regularly.

The first round of testing was carried out on June 15 as the first step towards pre-production. Filming is scheduled to resume in Television City on June 17. With this schedule, the first round of episodes could air in July. Production was discontinued in mid-March and after the last new episode aired on April 23, classic reruns were performed to keep fans happy.
The security policy meets the requirements of LA County and the City of Los Angeles and has been approved by the guilds and owner of Television City, Hackman Capital Partners.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” has been on the air since 1987 and was renewed in May to 2022.
“I’m thrilled to be immersed in years 34 and 35 of” The Bold and the Beautiful, “said executive producer Bradley Bell of the renewal. “We thank Amy Reisenbach and everyone at CBS for their incredible commitment to the series. Many thanks of course to our loyal fans who motivate us every day with their infinite passion and enthusiasm. “
Deadline was the first to report the story.
