Beloved director Spike Lee has returned with his latest epic cinematic outing.

The icon of cinema has given us such hit films at Do The Right Thing, Inside Man, and his Oscar-winning film BlacKkKlansman.

This time Lee brings us a Vietnam War epic in the form of Netflix film Da 5 Bloods.

Set in the present day, four veterans from the war return to Vietnam to recover the remains of a fallen comrade (Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman) and also potentially find some buried treasure.

However, the journey will highlight some long buried secrets between the four best friends and also the issues between Paul (Delroy Lindo) and his son David (Jonathan Majors).

The film also stars Clarke Peters, Norm Lewis, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Melanie Thierry, and Jean Reno.

Events certainly lead to a blockbuster finale, however, there is also an end credits scene to close out the film, but what does it mean?

*Spoiler warning for Da 5 Bloods*

Much of the action in the finale of Da 5 Bloods sees some emotional goodbyes but also some reconciliations.

The satisfying but also bloody end then rolls to credits where we see our cast of talented actors.

However, that is not all, as there is also a very brief clip at the end of the credits.

The short segment shows the cast and crew behind Da 5 Bloods are then shown all together posing in a group together when on location in the jungle.

The group all then say together an elongated version of “S**t” before beginning to laugh amongst themselves.

It’s a sweet and humorous little behind the scenes easter egg to finish the film on.

Thankfully, if credits aren’t your thing you can skip through most of it – you can’t do that a the cinema!

If you are looking for more Spike then there are also other films from the director online and his hit BlacKkKlansman arrives on Netflix on Julyy 24.

Da 5 Bloods is available now on Netflix.
