Dolly Parton, Avril Lavigne, Jason Aldean, and More New Music Musts are featured on The MixtapE!

Your weekend playlist for January features new releases from Sofia Carson, Danielle Bradberry, Muse, and other artists.

The number 14–16 has arrived.

For any music lover, Fridays with new music are both exciting and terrifying.

It’s essentially a weekly holiday when fans’ favorite artists and newcomers alike release their latest works for all to hear, flooding streaming services and digital retailers with an onslaught of aural delights (and, let’s be honest, a few duds, too).

Who, on the other hand, has time to sit and listen to everything before updating their playlists?

We do, in fact.

The MixtapE welcomes you!

Country music legends never work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Just ask Dolly Parton, who recently announced the release of her new album, Run, Rose, Run.

The album is a companion project to an original novel co-written by the singer and James Patterson, and features a new song titled “Big Dreams and Faded Jeans.”

As if that weren’t enough, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams announced the return of Dolly’s Strawberry Pretzel Pie flavor in honor of the album’s release.

While orders won’t be shipped until April, there are plenty of new songs to enjoy right now.

“Love It When You Hate Me” by Avril Lavigne and blackbear

Nobody does pop-punk anthems like Avril! In a sneak peek at her seventh studio album, the singer delivers another unforgettable chorus that will have you singing all weekend.

She sings, “Don’t call me a ‘baby,’ I love it when you hate me.”

“I know it’s crazy, but I love it when you despise me.” We’re sorry to break it to you, Avril, but we adore this.

“LOUD” by Sofia Carson

Her powerful vocals captivate with depth and soul in the actress’ new song, which transports the listener into a world of pop and R&B.

“Are you getting uncomfortable now? I’m a little too loud for you? Don’t try to calm me down,” she asks, grabbing your attention.

“From the bottom of my heart, this song is dedicated to YOU, the women of the world, and all the LOUD voices of change,” Sofia wrote on Instagram in support of the new song.

We were all “MadeToBeLoud” (hashtag).

“Trouble With a Heartbreak” by Jason Aldean

The country singer has just given his fans yet another gift…
