GORDON Ramsay took his 15-month-old son Oscar to work with him today, with the TV chef excitedly preparing to reopen his London restaurants.
The 53-year-old star even tried to train the tot how to say “yes chef” as he showed his youngest the ropes in the kitchen.
Taking to his Instagram Story, the father-of-five showed off his Michelin Star rating before the camera found him bouncing little Oscar on the steel counter.
The proud dad joked: “The calm before the storm; let me introduce you to our senior sous-chef, Oscar J Ramsay. Dude, are you ready?”
Oscar then appears to say daddy, with Gordon replying: “Yes daddy, I’m ready… Can you say ‘yes chef’? Hello?”
He then shared a selection of photos of Oscar posing in his kitchen, writing: “First day at work with dad”.
Oscar is even wearing a grey babygro with his dad’s restaurant logo emblazoned across it, truly showing his support for the Ramsay restaurant empire.
The famously grumpy chef is smiling and laughing in most of the photos, seemingly in high spirits as he is finally able to reopen his business following coronavirus lockdown.
Earlier today, Gordon praised a “significant day” as he discussed kickstarting the hospitality industry for the first time after it was “brought to its knees” earlier this year.
He said: “I’ve always been an optimistic individual with my glass half full, but this has been a testing time.”
Gordon continued: “Last night I had a meeting with all the teams and the energy in the room was like a packed Wembley Stadium.
“I can’t wait to get those grills fired up and bums on seat, but most importantly smiles on faces.”
He went on to reassure fans that his restaurants have put all necessary safety measures in place, rounding off the video with: “Can’t wait to see you – thank God we’re back.”
