Holly Willoughby gets the giggles after saying she ‘likes a cock-a-chon’ on This Morning

HOLLY Willoughby was left in fits of laughter after making a very rude joke on This Morning today.

The 39-year-old presenter was discussing a breed of dog with her ITV co-host Phillip Schofield when the risque innuendo slipped out.

During the segment, Phillip was referencing a bichon frise and cocker spaniel dog, telling Holly that the breed was called a cock-a-chon.

Holly then exclaimed: “I like a cock-a-chon!”

Phil replied: “Do you?”

The moment left the mum-of-two giggling as she hid her face behind her script.

She added: “I hope Russell Crowe can’t hear us!”

The famous actor was a guest on today’s show and quite frankly loved Holly’s joke.

The 56-year-old said: “[I heard] your introduction… those lovely photos of the doggies.”

The funny jibe comes one week after Holly took a break from the morning show so she could take her kids to school for the first time since lockdown.

Holly – who is mum to Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and Chester, five – returned on Tuesday last week and said she was “happy” they got to see their friends again.

She admitted it made “such a difference” to see their friends and “how much they need their social circle”.

Holly said: “It was really good, the school were brilliant and it was all really organised, I worried about it naturally, as a parent you worry about these things.

“Very organised, the kids were just so excited to see each other, I got a little bit emotional.

“Because you’ve been with them the whole time, I knew what they had done, what they’ve eaten, what they’ve learnt, it’s like having them back as babies.

“And suddenly they were doing stuff in the day that I didn’t know about, so it was relinquishing control.”

The presenter was replaced by Davina McCall.
